Design Process with my friends

 

Kia Ora people,

This week we worked on our design process. we brainstormed and we made a prototype, it was a silicone green button that stopped you from turning off your or ps4/Xbox but it has an adult-proof lock that only kids can take off. We also brainstormed another idea, it was a fingerprint and I thought it was pretty cool but I decided to go for the easy idea, in the end, it turned out pretty good I did this with Hamish and Luke, and Phoenix. The Lockdown Legacy

Today my brothers and I made a hobostove and cooked eggs, toast, and sausages.

What is a hobostove?

A hobo stove is a style of improvised heat-producing and cooking device used in survival situations, by backpackers, hobos, tramps and homeless people. Hobo stoves can be functional to boil water for purification purposes during a power outage and in other survival situations, and can be used for outdoor cooking.

We got a big tin from my Dad and put holes at the top of the tin for air to flow through it. We also cut a hole at the bottom for air to reach the inside of the tin and to give oxygen to the fire. A smaller tin was used on the inside so we could stack sticks and small bits of wood to fuel the fire. We also used methylated spirits to help start and ignite the fire to cook our eggs.

Cool Cybersmart

Yesterday we did cybersmart and we learned about what not to post online and what we should. This is to make sure we keep ourselves safe online. We could do this in buddies but I did this by myself. we had to hide private information like number plates, school uniform names, house numbers, and more!

Running Cross Country!

 Hello, my fellow bloggers.

Today I will be blogging about Cross Country and telling you what happened.

On Thursday, May 20th Marshland school and I went to cross country. We had to do two laps around the school and we even ran outside of the school! Lots of parents came to watch and take photos of their kids and we had to put a number on our hand to show when we finished they would mark our number and name off.

The Royal Family!

Kia Ora Everyone,

This Week We have been doing some research on the dance group the Royal Family. We had to state facts about what the Royal Family is, they were questions like is dance art? or are there other dance crews that communicate a message?

They are a popular dance group that does hip hop. Hip hop is really popular at the moment. I hope you enjoyed my explenation about the Royal Family and I'll See you next time.

Banksy is 46-47 years old and I think he is really good at art. 

Banksy stays anonymous and doesn't share his face and he also uses stencils to create his art.
